Students who will be under 18 years of age during their studies in Australia must provide evidence to the Department of Home Affairs that they have appropriate accommodation and welfare arrangements in place when they apply for their visa.

The student’s parents/legal guardian can request that ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ provides a Confirmation of Appropriate Accommodation and Welfare (CAAW). The CAAW letter will nominate the dates that ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ will take responsibility for you. Note that students will not be able to arrive in Australia prior to the commencement of the CAAW period.

Each student apartment has its own kitchen and bathroom. Apartments may be studio, one or two-bedroom, or three to six-bedroom multi-share, and most are allocated within walking distance, or a short tram ride, to ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½. Some student apartment costs cover electricity, gas and internet access. Students are required to commit to a six to 12-month lease agreement.
Private apartments allow students greater independence while studying at ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½. Apartments are usually furnished, and students should allow some time before the commencement of their course to find a suitable option.
Once we have received your payment and checked that you meet the Department of Home Affairs guidelines, we will confirm your enrolment by issuing an electronic confirmation of enrolment (e-COE).

Before applying for a student visa, students must be accepted into full-time study in a registered Australian course.
A registered course is an education or training course offered by an Australian education provider registered to offer courses to overseas students on the (CRICOS).
The Australian Government issues student visas for full-time study on the understanding that you study on-campus and have sufficient funds to cover your tuition fees and living expenses for the duration of your time in Australia.

This service is available from Melbourne Tullamarine airport only and must be booked in advance. Students will be invoiced for this service after arrival. Costs start from $150 per person. Excess baggage and cancellation fees apply.
It is mandatory for students under 18 years old to book transport to their approved accommodation.
Students arriving on a Saturday, Sunday or Monday must submit their airport reception and transfer request by 11am AEDT on the previous Friday.
