Applying for our courses is as easy as completing the application form and having a preliminary interview. Applications are now open.

Applications for most courses are made using the forms available from the University of Divinity. Your forms are then submitted through ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ for processing.

Applying

All students thinking about formal university studies at ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Theological School should (see below) and make an appointment to discuss their course or units with a member of the Faculty. You will need to supply certified copies of ID documents showing citizenship, and transcripts of any previous tertiary study.

For those considering a graduate research degree (MA or PhD), you will need to talk to the Research Co-ordinator at ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Theological School before submitting your application.

Application Forms

Please enrol using the University of Divinity forms, which are then submitted through ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Theological School. We will confirm your enrolment and payment arrangements. These forms, and further information about enrolment and re-enrolment, can be found on the University of Divinity website.

Scholarships

ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ is fortunate in being able to offer financial assistance for studies in Theology. See the Scholarships page for details of Studentships and Scholarships and to download the application form. The annual scholarship round is held in October.

Ministry Education Program

Applicants for the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Theological School Ministry Education Program will also need to arrange a short interview with the Director of the Ministry Education Centre. This program is administered separately from your University enrolment, although your formal subjects will be taken as part of your degree program.

International Students

Please note that there are special requirements for students who are not Australian citizens. The website explains these requirements and gives details of visas, fees and support. Trinity offers some assistance in essay-writing to students for whom English is not their first language. Please see the International Students page for further details. In general, note that we are not able to offer financial assistance toward course fees or living expenses.  

Units offered and timetable

The current timetable is available on our Units page, where there is a list of all units offered in the current year with links to the unit official unit descriptions.

Important dates

  • Orientation sessions are held in the week before commencement of each semester and may be attended online.
  • Semester 1 usually goes from the last week of February to the first week of June.
  • Semester 2 ususally goes from the last week of July to the first week of November. 
  • Census date (last date for enrolment changes without penalty) is around the middle of March for Semester 1 and middle of August for Semester 2.

Audit students

With permission from the lecturer, you are welcome to sit in on a unit as an audit participant. Those interested in attending any of our units on a not-for-credit basis, should email tcts@trinity.edu.au. Audit units cost $550 each. While you may complete the assessment tasks yourself, they cannot be submitted or marked, and no feedback can be given on your work or progress. Ordinarily, audit participation will be limited to two units without further consultation with the College.
