Join us for this special Evensong service.
ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ grounds on a beautiful sunny day

Our first Evensong of the semester, on Sunday 3 August, will be a special service to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, and the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

We are honoured to have the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize Winner, Professor Tilman Ruff (Infectious Diseases and Public Health physician and founder of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons), as our guest speaker.

In addition, our Residential College students and wider staff community have been busy creating thousands of origami paper cranes to display in the Chapel, as a traditional Japanese symbol of peace in the wake of the bombings.

Evensong begins at 5pm in the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Chapel. All are welcome, and no registration required.
